Halloween Costume Ideas for Twins

Halloween Costume Ideas for Twins

Parents of twins are twice blessed. Not only do we get twice the hugs and kisses, we also have the fun of dressing our little ones in Halloween costumes that are meant to be together. There are so many dynamic duo combinations, that the hardest part for parents of multiples is selecting which idea to choose. When our children are older and have more of an opinion about their costume choices, it may be harder to get them to dress as a couple. Take advantage of your time to dress them in similar costumes.

Children do not necessarily have to dress in the same exact costume. Each movie or program that they watch has a cast of characters so that each child can choose which one to dress up as. And if they want to be the same character? Let them! There will be many parental battles along the way, and choosing which Halloween costume to wear should not be one of them.

Whether you dress your twins up in as favorite characters, candy, or animals, you are sure to make the neighbors smile when they open their doors to you and your children. They will be in for a treat!

To Dress Alike or Not Dress Alike?

It is a source of controversy within the twin community as to whether or not you should dress you children alike or different. Because being a twin is a unique experience, some parents overdo it the matching outfits. On Halloween, it is perfectly acceptable to dress them alike if that is what they want!

Disney Halloween Costumes for Twins

Disney certainly has a stronghold on the minds of young children. They seem to fall in love with almost every character they meet! Even though it has been almost three years since Frozen debuted in theaters, Queen Elsa and Princess Anna are still the hottest princesses to hit the scene since Ariel splashed upon the shores in The Little Mermaid.   Anything connected with Inside Out, the multi-million dollar grossing movie, will be a hit with your little ones as well.

Preschoolers have their favorite characters from the television line up just for them. Sofia the First, Miles from Tomorrowland, Doc McStuffins, Sheriff Callie and Henry Hugglemonster are just a few of the characters that have captivated the imaginations of youngsters across the country.

Unlike adult costumes, which are worn once a year, a Disney version of your child’s favorite character will be seen many times if you put it in the dress up box at home. My children always had a multitude of dress up attire to wear and share with their friends who came over to play.

Almost all children love Disney movies, cartoons, and their favorite characters. There are so many famous pairings!

Since 1969, Sesame Street has been entertaining and education children in countries around the world. It has been one of the most influential children’s television programs of all time. Today’s parents learned their ABC’s and 123’s while watching Big Bird, Ernie and Bert, Cookie Monster and all of their human friends. Lessons on diversity were taught, and no topic was taboo, even the death of beloved Mr. Hooper. Every child has his or her own favorite characters, and you can dress up your twins in any one of them Since they are all friends on Sesame Street, any two costumes will work!
